Disputed is among the top (and possibly oldest) Horde raiding guilds on the Norgannon US server. As expansions hit and new "raiding" guilds spawned and died, we have endured the years and are growing stronger every day thanks to strong and rational leadership.
Our main focus for WOTLK was 25 man progression content, but we ran several 10 man raids a week and any other raid as time permitted in order to serve as many guild members as possible. And yes, even in the last days of Wrath, we continued to raid and farm ICC25 heroics. In these new fiery times of 4.2 our focus remains much the same, with 25man raids to serve as much of our membership as possible.
Our initial goals for Cataclysm were straightforward: level to 85, gear for raiding, and max professions. We began raiding in the 10man format until we had sufficient numbers for 25man, and now we are deep into 25man kills.
Raid times for 25 man content are Tuesday, Thursday, and (as needed) Sunday 7pm-midnight EST. Retro and alt raids are on any off-night and subject to our members' whims.
We desire skill, personal integrity, guild loyalty, and the drive to better oneself for the success of the raid.

It is shameful really, just guild websites seem to be on the decline anyway, especially with Norgannon. Anyway, to recap, we are working on Ragnaros now, 25man is a hellish raiding environment in compares to 10man ( go go blizz backlash regarding T11 content), and slowly but surely we are again growing the roster. A fine hello to all our new members, hope to make their raiding successes flourish.

And just a few weeks after polishing Nefarian off in 10man, our 25man raid force has taken the challenge and lain it to rest. Grats to all the hard work on my raiders, continuing the trend of excellence; now we are not only the only guild of Norg's horde to defeat Nef, but have him now down on both the 10 and 25man levels!
-
So this tier of content is put to rest (on normal) and we can celebrate with lovely Dark Phoenix riding! Grats to my team, all those there for the slaying of Nefarian (and his sister, all those constructs and the chromatic prototypes...). We are the first on our hordeside to manage this glorious achievement, and it was well worth the investment of time, blood sweat and tears.

We have finally located where Wowstead has been hiding the filled applications. I've added a link to the main navigation menu to ease the monitoring and review process. Apologies to those who have been kept waiting.

So we've done a lot of late, 9/12 of normal mode bosses killed, leaving just the end bosses of each raid in 10man. On 25man, we have now succeeded in downing 4/12. Maloriak was truly far easier on 25man than expected, glad he's been polished off now. Coordinating Atramedes proves.... less successful. But onwards we move towards dominance.

Maloriak is dead, but his experiements live on.... for a little while at least.
Atramedes may not truly have sight beyond sight, but those ears of his are lethally accurate while chasing our raiders with fiery breathe. But soon he too shall feel a final sting of our weapons drawing the final breathe from him. -
After several rapid stompings of the Bastion trash, yielding but a single epic throwing weapon, we took upon ourselves to slay the Conclave of the Winds. Truly an amazing(ly small) raid, the Conclave were mere speed bumps on our conquest of Catacylsm. Grats to Aubani and Carcic for their belts.

And so, after a brutal struggle with the massive, angry, fiery behemoth of a worm Magmaw and the insidiously random council of Dwarven golems that is the Omnitron Defense, we of Disputed have persevered and came out victorious. Grats to our resto druid Dologony for nabbing 2 bits of caster leather, our rogue Qlaatu for some wicked shoulders, and a pat on my own back for a lovely new sword. Lastly, there was a nice epic BoE fist weapon that we are keeping quiet from Mys... she has 3 days to figure that out before I hand it to Nibs. ;-P

Alrighty, following close on the heels of our guild acquiring the achievement ' Ready for Raiding ' (basically a 'do not stand in the fire' thing in heroic Deadmines) we proved our readiness by defeating the first of our Catacylsm raid bosses, Argaloth in ten man Baradin Hold. This is our first step towards total domination of Cata raiding, and I am very proud of our progress. Let's all work hard to start raiding in this coming week!

It's a little late, but I'd like to thank everyone who helped us gather the legendaries for this guild achievement. Grats to all who are holding these items for us. :D
